Busy Busy...

Wow! We have been very busy since we have been back in Iowa. It's no exaggeration to say that everyday we have had something going on. We had such a nice Christmas with family. We were able to open presents from Santa, my parents, M's parents, and go to M's big family Christmas all in one day!

The 26th we did our annual day-after Christmas shopping. I was able to go with the girls for awhile(my mom and sister) and get some shopping done without the boys and G. It was so nice not to feel rushed. I was excited because the mall we went to has a GAP Maternity so I was able to get some new clothes since I can no longer fit in normal clothes. The boys and G met us at the mall and we all shopped for awhile, went out for dinner and returned home exhausted.

The 27th we had a family Christmas on my dad's side. We had more great food and enjoyed seeing relatives that we hadn't seen in awhile. My cousin Laura swears by "the pencil test" to determine how many kids you will have and what sex they will be. If the pencil test is correct, our baby due in June will be a girl. I am skeptical, but am interested to see if it will be right :)

The 28th we started the morning by having breakfast with "Grandpa Mont" as G calls him. G ate an entire pancake by himself that was as big as the plate. I don't know where he put it all, but he ate it and loved it. I think pancakes are one of his favorite foods! We also went to some of our good friends' house last night for pizza and more importantly to meet their new baby Harlow. She was adorable and it was interesting to see G around her. He kept saying, "Baby crying!" He was sweet and gave her a kiss, but I still had to watch and make sure he was gentle around her.

Today we headed back out to the mall and did some birthday shopping for my mom. Aunt Jenna and Uncle Justin were nice and let us drop G off at their place to babysit while M and I went by ourselves shopping. We brought back lunch and ate at their apartment. Tonight we are going to dinner and M's aunt and uncle's house.

Like I said, we have been so busy but are having a great time. Tomorrow is my mom's birthday so more celebrating to come!
