My sister is on spring break this week from grad school so G and I decided to come visit for a few days. We got here on Sunday afternoon and will leave on Thursday. I think Daddy misses us at home. He says it is pretty quiet.

On Monday Jenna and I took G to the Blank Park Zoo in Des Moines. It was a nice morning-a little chilly but not too bad with coats on. There was hardly anyone there so G had a great time running around and looking at all the animals. We picked up Uncle Justin from work and went to lunch at Spaghetti Works in Des Moines. It was yummy :) Last night after dinner we went and watched Jenna play volleyball. She had 2 games, but we only stayed for one. After such a busy day, G was tired and needed a bath and bed.

Today G went with Grandpa Mont to coffee where he had his favorite-pancakes! He loved riding in Grandpa Mont's truck. We also went to visit Great Grandma Ida. G loves to visit her because she has so many "toys" (a wheelchair and a walker) that he can push up and down the hall. We went to lunch at one of our favorite places in Ankeny, Pancheros.

It's a good thing that we will be here for a few more days, we have a lot more to do!
