A Snowy Weekend

This weekend the weather was just not very nice here. Today it is really cold and looks like a blizzard outside. We have gotten a couple inches of snow and the wind is terrible, which caused all the snow to blow around. We decided it was a great day to just stay home and get some projects done.

I did a lot of wrapping. We have a few people left to buy for, but we are almost done with our shopping.

M on the other hand chose to tackle this monster. This is our basement, the one area of the house that we haven't done anything with since the move. This is the place that if we had something and didn't know where it went, it went to the basement. This is the before picture (I am embarrassed to even show this!):

Our plan for this room is to finish it next spring. The rest of the basement is finished, so it wouldn't take much to complete the project.

Maybe we need to have blizzards more often.....it is amazing what you can get done when you are stuck in your house!
