Happy Valentine's Day

Happy Valentime's Day (as G calls it). I know some people really don't like this holiday, but I love it. When we were first married, M and I would go to a fancy dinner, flowers, the works. Our lives and priorities have changed and today was just exactly perfect. I was sort of bummed this morning because I had planned to make G's favorite pancakes for breakfast. I was going to make them heart-shaped in honor of V-Day. I quickly found out after being gone all weekend that we had no eggs, so scratch that idea. Instead, we had heart-shaped peanut butter and jelly for lunch. The boys also got to open their Valentine's gifts. G got a few new DVD's for our car trips and two Chuggington trains. B got a drum that lights up and plays music when he hits it with his hands.

I had such an awesome day with my three boys. I wouldn't have it any other way!
