Weekend Projects

This past week has been rough on our household. Everyone (including Aunt Jenna) was sick with a bad cold. The boys both ran fevers, had congestion, runny noses, and bad coughs. M and Aunt Jenna were both home sick on Thursday. We are hoping that we are through the worst of it. We didn't really go anywhere since not everyone was feeling great, so we decided to get some projects done around the house. We have been wanting to do some painting around the house and since we have finished G's room, the next project was our downstairs bathroom.

Here is the after. It is hard to get a true picture of the color but it is sort of a clay/terracotta color.


I love the way it turned out. It is getting me really excited to do the rest of the lower level.

And no, a tornado did not hit our home. We have been really needing to organize the baby/G's old clothes. We had them all in totes in the basement, but they really weren't as organized as they should have been. So we laid everything out and sorted it all into piles by size, and then put them into totes. Here is the finished product:
