I am a little behind on blogging, no excuses other than just being kind of lazy! We have had a lot of visitors lately which we love! Last weekend my cousin Brad and his wife Laura and sons Reed and Drake came to visit us. It was a lot of fun to have them so they could see our new house (they had been to the old one once) and let the boys play together. It is neat because age-wise G is right in the middle of their two boys. Four boys made for a lot of craziness!
This is Laura reading all the boys a bed time story. It is funny because they all have the same type of comfort item which we refer to as "softies". We were spending all weekend making sure the right boy had the right softie :)
Saturday we took them to Bloomington to the Children's Museum. We have taken G there before but this was our first time since B had been born. All the boys had a great time and it was such a nice way to spend the day.
Even this guy had a blast! They have a toddler area and B just crawled up and over this bridge that they have there about a hundred times. He could have stayed there all day!
Big news around this part.....we have had a lot of August birthdays to celebrate. This picture was from last year but you still get the point. Grandma Norma had a birthday August 27th, Daddy's birthday was August 29th, and Aunt Jenna had a birthday August 30th. Happy Birthday guys! And especially to our Daddy who turned the big 3-0 this year :) We have lots more celebrating to do on that with a party this coming weekend!
Other big news around these parts is that B has started taking some steps. Not exactly sprinting around the room steps, but we are still working with him and hoping soon. He can TOTALLY do it-we just need to work on the confidence :)
