Christmas Eve

We spent Christmas Eve with my family eating dinner and going to church. My Mom makes the most amazing dinner every year for us with the highlight being prime rib. It is delicious! She also makes a lot of our favorites including potato casserole, red jello with bananas, and homemade apple pie. We are all usually stuffed by the end!
B loved looking at my parents' tinsel tree. It spins and has a light that makes it change colors. It is an antique that my Dad is very proud of so we try to ignore the horrible loud noise it makes :)

Here is our family on Christmas Eve. I am very glad that we took pictures before church because right before we left B took a nose dive out the front door head first onto my parents' welcome mat. It left a nice big red mark on his forehead. Pair that injury with an ear infection and he was quite the mess that night!

Here's Jenna and Justin, we affectionately call them Todd and Margo from Christmas Vacation :)

My parents and the boys.

My parents' tree always looks great.

Putting our the magic reindeer dust that our elf Charlie brought.

Time  to go to bed, look at these cuties in their Christmas jammies!

Once the kiddos were tucked into bed, we stayed up and played some dominoes. We must be getting old because none of us wanted to stay up long enough to finish a whole game.
