It's Been Awhile

I decided (I had an email from my mother asking me if I was ever going to blog again) that I needed to update on what's been going on around here.

Last week G had his last day of three year old preschool. He really liked his class and his teacher Miss Laura. I can't believe how much he has changed and learned just within one year. The other day he told me why it rains-because the clouds fill up and then rain to make the plants grow :)

Speaking of growing.......Here is the new tree that we had planted in the back yard. It is a birch tree and really adds a lot to the corner of our backyard! We have been a little worried about the big tree we had planted in the front yard about a month ago. It is going through transplant shock and looks a little tough, but we have talked to the nursery people and it sounds like we have been doing everything right. Hopefully it will be fine once it is over the shock part. But here is the new tree......

We went back to Iowa last weekend for Memorial Day. We got to see lots of family, go to a graduation party for my cousin, M played golf, and I did a little shopping with my Mom. We will go back the third week in June to celebrate my Grandma Ida's 90th birthday!

We are getting into summer mode around here. We sleep in (sort of) and get to take our time watching our morning shows before getting ready. Most days we are outside and doing things with friends. G finished up with swim lessons this week so that will start up again in August.

I am excited about my latest adventure-I have become a Scentsy sales consultant. I am really excited to see where this will take me and really just decided to do this because I love the products! I know a lot of my friends do too so hopefully this will be something new and exciting for me!
