In the middle of June, we celebrated my Grandma Ida's 90th birthday. My whole extended family (aunts, uncles, cousins, etc.) came to Iowa to help celebrate. It was a weekend full of events and we were exhausted by the end of it, but it was amazing to see everyone and spend lots of time together! The events kicked off at my Aunt and Uncle's farm where we had hotdogs, smores, and a hayrack ride! Even Grandma Ida joined us for the ride :)
The next day we all went to Adventureland, which is an amusement park in central Iowa. We decided to leave B with Grandpa Mont for the day since he is really too small for a lot of the rides and still NEEDS a nap.G has been to Adventureland before and loves it! They also have a water park that is included in the admission price, so we did that in the afternoon.
My cousin Jason decided to go on the Frog Hopper with G and his little boy Cooper.
Grandma Ida joined us at Adventureland for awhile too! She had a decorated wheelchair and all :)
Me, Jenn, and my Mom with the Birthday Girl.
The boys went on the log ride. G loved it!
The next day we had the actual "birthday party" at my aunt and uncle's house. My Grandma enjoyed seeing everyone and having us sing. She also received a mother's bracelet from all her sons. It was very special.
