Well I will start with the happy part of the post, M and I and celebrated our 7 year anniversary. We were able to get a sitter Saturday night and go to a nice dinner at Johnny's where we sat outside. It was a beautiful night. We then ran some errands without the kiddos (Target is a much different experience with no kids!) and then came home to a wide eyed 2 year old. I don't know what it is about sitters but he refuses to sleep for them! He doesn't cry but sits up in his crib talking and babbling and probably waiting for Mommy to get home and tuck him in :) M also got me these gorgeous flowers as well as another gift that involved one of my favorite words-Coach!
On to the bummer part of the post.......
Last night our curious and troublesome dog Mya got into a cabinet (that I left open) and ate an entire cup of chocolate chips as well as some long grain white rice-random combination! Anyway, we decided that since she had consumed such a large amount for such a small dog we should take her to the animal hospital. So when M got home from class at 10pm, he put her in the car and took her to the animal hospital. They settled her stomach down and gave her charcoal (which apparently soaks up the chocolate) and sent her home. They got back around midnight and I am not sure who was more tired-Mya the very sick dog or my husband who worked a full day and then had a full night of class! I am happy to report that a few vomit episodes and $200 later, Mya seems to be on the mend.
No more chocolate chips Mya!
