Wisconsin Dells

Last Thursday we left for our second annual Pauli/Schreurs trip to the Wisconsin Dells. We go with our good friends that have kids right around the same age. As we were packing up, we all commented how much can change in a year-last year the little boys weren't even walking and we were packing stollers and high chairs. This year our packing was a lot lighter!

We stayed at the Wilderness on the Lake again which is part of the Wilderness Resort. It is great because we get a condo so we can all stay together. It has a nice kitchen so we made most lunches and breakfasts in our room as well as grilling steaks one night. Here are the kids checking out the water park at our resort.

When we arrived we let the little ones nap and then all headed down to let the kids test out the water. B loved the water slides at our resort because they were a lot smaller than some of the others at the Wilderness.

I love his face!

Brandon was the raft for Elizabeth and G.

He was not afraid of anything!
One of the highlights for the kids is the Ken Ducky Derby (basically a duck race in the lazy river). Each duck has a child's name on it and the winner got a t-shirt and pass to some extra activities like mini golf and bumper boats. We were all very excite when our friend's little guy Grant was the winner!

They all recieved lovely duck whistles for participating :)

Since the kids were bigger this year they really enjoyed the wave pool a lot more.

This is the vacation look!

Loving the water....

One morning we went on a horse drawen carriage ride through the woods. The weather was nice and the trees were turning fall colors. A great way to spend the morning if you ask me!

The last night we stayed around our place and grilled steaks for dinner. While the guys were grilling the kids fed the ducks.

We had such a great time and it was so nice to see the kids have so much fun!
