G's 5th Birthday

G turned 5 years old the Sunday after Thanksgiving. He had lots of birthday celebrations that started with a party with some of his friends. He decided he wanted to have it at the bowling alley and it worked out pretty nice! They organized everything including cake and decorations so we pretty much just had to show up! The kids had a great time-we had a lot of first time bowlers. In true 4/5 year old fashion they were pretty much into it for the first 7 frames and then their attention went to playing "Spider Man" with each other.

After everyone was finished bowing we had cake and ice cream and sang to the birthday boy.

He loved opening his presents and pretty much owns everything related to The Avengers and Spider Man now. He truly was excited about every present!

Showing off his new Spider Man glasses from his good friend Elizabeth.

We traveled back to Iowa and celebrated Thanksgiving and G's birthday with the family. Our first celebration was with Grandpa Mont and Grandma Norma. Grandpa Mont had poor G convinced that the only kind of cake the store had left was a princess cake. It was mean but funny :) He was pleasantly surprised when Grandpa Mont brought out the Iron Man cake that he had requested.

Our last celebration was with Grandpa Dean, Grandma Kim,  Aunt Jenna and Uncle Justin. More presents!

Trying out the new scooter Mommy and Daddy bought him.
What a lucky boy to be able to celebrate with so many friends and family!
