Disney Trip-Post #1

We traveled the last week in February to Disney World! It was the first time we had taken the boys on a week long vacation and the first time they had ever flown on an airplane.

The boys did great on the plane. Daddy used frequent flyer miles from all his international trips to get us all first class seats. It was great-complete with meals and warm chocolate chip cookies! The boys enjoyed meeting the pilots and seeing the cock pit.

Our first night at Disney, we ate dinner at Chef Mickey's. This was a great kick off to our vacation because the boys got to meet a lot of the famous characters- Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Pluto, Donald, and of course this guy......

Sunday we headed to our first park, Hollywood Studios. The resort that we stayed at (Disney's Wilderness Lodge) had bus transportation to the parks and boat transportation to the Magic Kingdom.

There were a few rides that we knew B was too young to do so Daddy and G went without us. I love G's face on this ride, The Rockin Roller Coaster. Even Daddy admitted this was an intense ride!

'
We ate lunch at Hollywood and Vine and the boys had a lot of fun meeting Doc McStuffins, Sofia, Handy Manny, and Jake.

Can you get any more Disney than Mickey ears and a Mickey ice cream bars?

Monday was Epcot day. We discovered some of our favorite rides there-the Test Track and Soarin. Amazing rides!

G's teacher told him his homework for the week was to meet Mickey-check, meet Minnie Mouse-check, and get a kiss from Snow White-check!

We rented a double stroller while we were there which worked out great for days there was a lot of walking. Or for when they needed a lollipop break :)

Every afternoon we usually headed back to our resort so the boys could nap and swim in the pool. The pool was complete with life guards and a water slide. The boys could have spent their whole vacation there!

Our resort also roasted marshmallows on the each every night followed by a light parade on the water,

Taking the boat back from Magic Kingdom was our favorite way to get around.

The Magic Kingdom was our favorite park. There was so much to do! We spent 2 and a half days making our way around the park and since it was low crowds, we were really able to do everything we wanted without a lot of waiting.

Two studs......

This was our favorite snack, the Dole Pinneapple Whip. It is a must have if you visit the park!

I think he is smitten with Princess Belle :)

A little out of order.....but more muscles!
