Our weekend started off with a bang, literally. B got quite the bang on his head. He was playing around with brother and somehow fell back and knocked his head on the corner of an end table. It bled a lot and their were quite a bit of tears. It was pretty clear that some sort of medical treatment would be needed to close the wound. It wasn't big, but deep enough. We took him to a prompt care and got right in. He was a very brave boy and one staple to the head later we were on our way back to our previous Friday night plans (a BBQ with neighbors). We are hoping he is just as brave when we go to get it out this week.
A little staple wasn't going to stop this guy from his first t ball game. He was most excited about wearing cleats. He looked so little out there-they all did really. It didn't help that their shirts were about 3 sizes too big for them all.
The focus for the game started off very well.
And about 20 minuted in the focus began to shift to the dirt and the helicopter that flew over 3 times :)
But that's ok! It's the fun that counts....and maybe the treat after the game.
Do you really need to see to hit the ball?
M's weekend was spent getting ready for a big project, putting on a new deck. The deck that has been on the back of our house has always been an area we have wanted to improve. So since it had some minor damage from the tornado, we decided now was the perfect time. We are glad to be getting it done before summer so we will have a lot of time to enjoy it. The new deck is scheduled for next weekend, stay tuned!
