Weekend Mania

We went back to Iowa this weekend and like usual had a jam-packed schedule. We went back Thursday night, M took Friday off. Friday M played golf in the morning and G and I hung out with my mom and sister. Friday night M went to the Dave Matthews Band concert in Des Moines. He went with my sister and her husband and their friend. I am not a huge fan and didn't really feel like paying $75 to see them. They all had a blast and loved it. M has been a fan for a long time and this is the first time he has ever seen them in concert.



Saturday morning we went over to visit Grandpa LaMont and Grandma Norma. We hadn't seen them in a while so it was nice to catch up. Grandpa LaMont found the way to G's heart by making a ramp to puch his little cars down. He LOVED it! In fact when we came back to say goodbye on Sunday morning, that was the first place he went.

Saturday afternoon we headed up to tailgate at the Iowa State-Army game. G decided he was too excited to take a nap, so we left around 2. He loves his Aunt Jenna and Uncle Justin!

G thought it was great to sit in the back of the van and have people bring him snacks :)

Another great part of the weekend was seeing my college roommate Caroline and her husband Scott. I hadn't seen them since their wedding-I was about 2 months pregnant with G so it has been awhile! It was sooooo nice to see them!

While mommy and daddy went to the game, Aunt Jenna and Uncle Justin brought G back to my parents house to get him ready for bed. As you can see, they had a hard time getting this guy calmed down.

On Sunday before we left, G checked out Grandpa Dean's Harley. He liked looking at it, but not so much sitting on it.
