It was a pretty lazy weekend for us, but that's ok because we have some crazy ones coming up! We have something every Friday and Saturday for the rest of October. Friday night we were excited to try out the new Chinese restaurant. It was very yummy! We haven't found a place that we really like around here, so we are excited that we can start having Chinese again.
Saturday morning we bundled up and went to the pumpkin patch. G had lots of fun petting animals, walking in the mud, and picking out his pumpkin. I won't lie-Mommy and Daddy sort of picked it out considering the one G picked looked like it had warts all over it! Saturday night we stayed inside and had homemade pizza. We are really enjoying having the playroom in the basement. G and Daddy played for awhile before bed.
Sunday morning we went to church. I am on the Preschool/Childcare board at our church and they have started their cookie dough fundraiser. I volunteered to help with that so I went to church an hour before G and M. When G woke up from his nap, we headed into Peoria and stopped at Barnes and Noble and got a few new books for G. We finished our weekend by having chili and muffins which tasted great on a cold fall night!
