Mother's Day Weekend

We went back to Iowa this past weekend to celebrate Mother's Day and a few birthdays. Friday night we went out for pizza to celebrate Justin's birthday. The pizza was awesome and we followed it up with some homemade cheesecake that my mom made-yum! My parents got G a new bug hut for him to catch bugs in. I hate bugs but G was so excited about it. He wanted to put a bug in there so bad and we kept telling him that it was nighttime and cold so there were no bugs out. All of a sudden we saw a moth flying around one of the lights in my parents house. Well of course Grandpa chased this moth around until he caught it and he put it in the bug hut. G was so excited. In this picture he is looking at his new found friend :)

Saturday night we went to a restaurant called the Iowa Machine Shed to celebrate Grandpa Mont's birthday. The food was sooooooo good and G loved it because they had free tractor rides. He was scared at first, but once we got going he smiled and kept imitating the tractor noise. Grandpa Mont bought him a new John Deere tractor from the gift shop so G was thrilled!

Sunday we celebrated Mother's Day with both sides of the family. More food of course....

We had such a good weekend and were all very tired when we got home. This was our last trip before the baby comes. It will be a lot different going home with two the next time!
