Picnic, Pictures, and Dentist

Yesterday the weather was beautiful and we enjoyed it by having a picnic with some of my great friends. We ate on blankets in an area that has beautiful flower gardens. The kids all got to run around and play after lunch. We are fortunate in our group to have a very talented photographer who offered to take some Mother's Day pictures of the moms with their kiddos. The pictures turned out adorable and they just make me smile :) Thanks Kara!

Today we had a big milestone-G went to the dentist for the first time. It is an all kids dentistry so they had movies playing for the kids, toys, and a game station with video games. G did really well. We had done a lot of talking about this and he knew that the dentist was going to look at his teeth. He sort of got a little scared when the hygentist put on gloves-I think he thought he was getting a shot. But he sat on my lap and let her count his teeth and let the dentist look at and count his teeth. Everything looked good but they could tell that he sucks his thumb. It has caused his teeth to start to move, so eventually we will need to break him of this habit. He got to pick out a Lightning McQueen toothbrush and a bouncy ball from the prize box. Now he is obsessed with brushing his teeth which I guess is a good thing!
