A Bunch of Craziness!

Well we never have a dull moment in this house. We have been adjusting to getting less sleep and balancing two kiddos. M was off all last week, so it was nice to have someone to sort of tag team it with. I would take one child, M would take another. I have taken Mr.B to the Dr. for his regular check-ups. He is doing well other than having a little trouble keeping milk down. He spits up a lot and it makes him very fussy. We are going to try a prescription to see if that doesn't help. I have also eliminated dairy from my diet since I am nursing, as that can sometime make babies gassy. I have slowly been trying to eat a little here and there and so far so good.

G is adjusting as well as can be expected to being a big brother. I had to laugh the other day because I picked him up from his playgroup and he said, "Mommy, you brought baby brother!" I thought-well that else am I going to do with him? It cracked me up. He is testing limits and trying our patience, but he is doing ok and loves his new brother.

When the baby came and we started bringing up all the baby stuff combined with G's toys we suddenly felt totally out of space. We knew this was going to happen, we just had no idea how tight we would feel. We decided to look and see what houses were on the market and see if we could find one that would work for us. We found 2 that we really liked, but in order to make an offer, we had to have our house sold first. So we decided to see what happened and put our house up for sale by owner. We spent 2 solid days while M was home cleaning and getting the house ready to show. We received our first call last Monday that someone wanted to see it. They came through our house twice before deciding they loved it and made an offer-which after some negotiation accepted. So now we are moving in 39 days (we close Aug.6) and are in the process of making an offer on a new house. We should know tomorrow if we got it or not. So now our life is super crazy trying to start packing, living with a newborn and 2 year old, but I guess we will just do all the craziness at once!

We needed to blow off some steam tonight so we took G to the swimming pool tonight. He had a blast and it was a great way to wear him out!
