Loading up the boys at the hospital to head home. I love the look on G's face, like "Is this dude really coming with us?"
All ready to go home!
Having our first sponge bath. Not quite ready for a full bath. He did not like it one bit :)
Isn't he peaceful? Too bad this wasn't bedtime. More like 6pm.
IWe came home mid-morning on Saturday. B is doing really well as is big brother G. We have had our ups and downs (G acting out, B basically not sleeping at night) but we are working through them and trying to remember that this can only get better!
G is being a great big brother. He gets very concerned when B cries and always says "Oh no!" He also likes to give B his pacifier. He hasn't asked to give him back yet so I guess that is a good thing.
I took B to his first check-up with the doctor today and he is almost back to his birth weight. He weighs 7lbs 4oz (he weighed 7lbs and 5.5 oz at birth). The doctor said he is a little jaundice, but it appears to be mild.
My mom has been here this week and it has been a life saver. I know I would not be able to do this without her. She has been such a trooper staying up with me through all of these sleepless nights. I'm thinking I won't let her leave....we'll see how that goes.
