What have we been up to?

This pretty much sums it up......all of our free time has been spent packing up the house. All of the furniture is still at the house and will be loaded into a U-Haul truck on Thursday, but the rest of our things we have been putting in boxes and moving to the "little garage" as G calls it (a storage unit). G loves going to the little garage but B on the other hand detests it. Most of my time is spent trying to keep the pacifier in his mouth and keep him content while M unloads everything. We are making a lot of progress but still have a ways to go.

Saturday we went over to the new house and got a lot of cleaning done. I don't think we were supposed to technically do this since we have not closed on the house, but I think the realtor felt sorry for us and knew that we would have no time to clean before moving in, so he made an exception. We got a babysitter for G because let's face it, we can get NOTHING done with a two and a half year old and a newborn. We took B with us and were lucky that he slept for a good part of the morning so that we could work. It was so nice being in the new house and it really got us excited and gave us that last bit of motivation to push through the rest of the packing. Sometimes it's easy to forget that we are doing all of this work and there will be a great reward at the end!
