Halloween Party at School

Is it Halloween yet?? I feel like we have been celebrating this holiday for a long time and it's not even here yet! Oh well, this is fun because this is the first year that G understands what it means and how to trick or treat. Today was his Halloween party at school. I knew he was excited because he didn't fight me about getting dressed today. Usually I have to wrangle him and hold him down to get his clothes on each morning. I guess I have found my answer to that problem-let him wear his fireman costume every day :) B and I went to the school to meet G and attend the party. It was really cute and a lot of fun. They had games and crafts for the kids to do, and of course lots of treats. G really could have skipped everything and gone right to the treats.

He is trying to make a jack-o-lantern. This was taken right before he got the glue stick confused with chap stick and tried putting it on his lips-oh boy!

G and I having fun :)

Playing games.

This is G's good friend Luke. You can't see his costume very well but he is Elvis. He was adorable!

Treat time!
Tonight we went to the high school for more trick or treating. The high school students had the halls decorated and wore costumes while handing out candy to the kids. We went with our friends Mandy and Charlie. We had fun but I made the mistake of bringing the stroller. Imagine hallways full of people and kids and stairs= not fun pushing a stroller. After we finished the trick or treating we went into the main gym of the high school. Charlie's daddy Eric is the assistant basketball coach and was having an open gym. G and Charlie got to go run around and play a little b-ball in their costumes.
We were sad that our Daddy couldn't join us for any of the activities today. He had to work and then had class tonight. We'll make sure he joins in the fun on Sunday for the real Halloween!
