Some Recent Pics.....

We haven't seen our family in awhile so I wanted to give them a few recent pics of the boys. We are excited to go home for Thanksgiving! The boys have been doing well. B has really been making a lot of progress strengthening his neck. He has recently been able to sit up in the exersaucer. I even took him for a walk today in his stroller sitting up, instead of using his car seat. This week we started putting some fruit in with his rice cereal at night. He is a big fan :)

G was excited to show off his Harley Davidson outfit from Grandpa Dean. He walked right into school today and told his teachers he was wearing a motorcycle outfit.

Speaking of school.....when I picked him up today the teacher told me that G had hit his head on the wall. (No he did not walk into the wall), he was playing on some soft mats and climbing things and must have fallen off them and hit his head on the wall on the way down. The picture doesn't really show all the "color" that is on his head. The teachers said it hardly slowed him down-he just wanted to play :)

G has entered the "independent stage". Everything is ,"I do it!" He really is learning to do a lot. He unbuckles himself from his carseat, pulls his pants down to go potty, helps brush his teeth at night, holds doors open for me when I am carrying B, and lots of other things. Sometimes it takes him three times as long to do things, but it is great that he is trying and learning.
He had two funny moments yesterday. The first one happened when we were driving to the paint store. It was dark (6pm) so the moon was out. He looked at it and said, "Look! It's a banana moon!" Sure enough....it did look just like a banana. I guess I had never thought of it that way:)
The second was later that night in the bath tub. I was trying to distract him because sometimes he can be a little stinker about splashing, so I asked him how high he could count. He raised his hand as high as it could reach it and started counting....1, 2, 3....I guess he took me literally.
