North Carolina

We were so excited to go to Raleigh, North Carolina for our good friends Adam and Catherine's wedding. To say that M and I needed a get away is a total understatement! We had not left the boys since B had been born. Between crazy work schedules, hectic schedules, and all the things that go along with parenting, it was so nice to go away without the kids and just have fun. Don't get me wrong, I missed the boys like crazy and called every few hours to check up and see what they were doing. We arrived on Thursday morning and were picked up by M's cousin Ben. Ben lives in Raleigh, which worked out great for us because we were able to stay with him. (Thanks for being such a great host Ben!)

Hanging out by the pool enjoying the 80 degree day. After our pool time we went to dinner at an amazing restaurant called the Peddler's Steakhouse. The salad bar was delish and the "peddler" came to our table and let us pick our steaks.

Friday we slept in (awesome!) and then went mini golfing. It is very similar to real golf in the fact that I am horrible at both! We had fun with Ben and his girlfriend Jen. M had to attend the wedding rehearsal later in the afternoon since he was an usher, then after that we ate at a nice pizza place for the rehearsal dinner. We were excited to see a lot of our good friends from college-some of which we haven't seen since college. We all had fun catching up and having drinks.

Us with Ben and Jen.

The wedding was amazing and beautiful and we were so happy for our friends.

The happy couple :)
