Easter

We had a great time going back to Iowa to visit family and celebrate Easter. Friday night we attended a birthday party for M's cousin's little boy Jack. G loved playing with all the other little boys that were there. Saturday we had Easter over at my parents house with my Dad's side of the family.

We then did the "big kids" egg hunt in the backyard, where the hunt was on for the famous "Golden Egg". It gets pretty cut throat and everyone wants bragging rights over this. So who was the big winner this year??



That's right! Me. There was $40 in the "Golden Egg"

The Easter Bunny stopped by and left gifts in the boys' baskets. B got a light up stacking toy as well as a Cubs ball and some yogurt puffs. G got a Lightning McQueen umbrella, some candy, and a new drum (which he is bananas over!).

After church, we headed over to M's parents house. Grandpa Mont took G out to play in Daddy's old tree house.

We ate lunch at the M's aunt and uncle's house complete with another egg hunt. G was very good at finding eggs by the end of our trip :)
