The Week Highlights

We have had a great week this week. I guess we must have been so busy I didn't get any pictures of our adventures.

(The not good part of the week).Wednesday night I noticed our kitchen faucet was leaking. I made a comment to M about this and sure enough, it was leaking water all the way under the sink and down into the basement. So Thursday we went to Menards and picked out a new faucet, and our friend Adam helped installed it. M is good at a lot of things, but plumbing isn't one of them, so we were glad Adam could help. G was so cute, he had his Handy Manny tools out too and was under the sink with the boys trying to help :)

Friday we met friends at the zoo for the first time since winter. It felt great to be out enjoying the nice weather. B loved looking at everything and riding in his stroller.

I loved watching the royal wedding! I know a lot of people thought it was ridiculous, but I was so entertained. I loved watching all of the traditions. I had it on and G and I had the following conversation:
"Mommy did you have a princess hat (veil)"

"Yes I did."

"And did you walk slow too?"

"Haha, well yes I did"


B is sooooo close to crawling. He is in the position.....has the determination in his eyes........gets a rockin'......and nothing. He gets us all excited cause he looks like he is going to go and then sits back and smiles. I am sure once he does start crawling, I will think "Remember how nice it was when he didn't move?"

I enjoyed some alone time without the kiddos at the mall today. I was very pleased to find G a shirt at the GAP for $2.97! Nice! I also found a really cute easter tree on clearance at Michaels for $3.99.
