One Big Party

We celebrated B's first birthday on Saturday. My parents, sister, and brother in law made the trip out here to be with us for this special occasion. The weather was so beautiful so we were able to have fun and eat outside. The birthday boy was in great spirits (like usual) and loved all the gifts and being able to try cake :)

One of his favorite gifts, a ball pit from Grandpa Dean and Grandma Kim......we really could not get this kid out of it!

I think he likes presents!

Here is the cake. This was my first attempt at making a cake. It is an owl in case it is not obvious...It took a few tries and didn't exactly look like it was supposed to but hey, it worked and tasted great!

B's first taste of cake, he was not sure what to think.

I think you can see that he totally loved it!
