One thing the Iowa State Fair is known for is the food. One word to describe the food selection: delicious! There is anything you can imagine! The new food item for the fair this year was deep fat fried butter....we opted not to try that for obvious reasons! Since the food at the fair is my favorite part, I decided it would be fun to document and show everyone what great food the Iowa State Fair has. So here it is, and no I did not eat all of these items!

Our first year for trying the potato ribbons. Tasted like homemade potato chips!
Jenna and Justin enjoyed Italian Grinder sandwiches. Our poor Jenna worked an 8 hour shift at the hospital before joining us at the fair to continue to walk miles. She was tired!
M insisted that you could not go to a fair without getting a corn dog.
My Dad's favorite, mini doughnuts. They come out still hot!
This was on every one's list to eat that day: fried cheese curds.
