Busy Busy

I have sort of forgotten about updating the blog this week. December is a crazy month for everyone and we are no different!

This week I had my 12 week appointment with my OB Dr. I got to listen to the heartbeat which I always love. We also made our appointment for our next ultrasound to find out the sex of the baby. It is going to be on January 22. With all the holiday craziness, I am sure that time will go fast. My brain is telling me that I think it is a boy, but I dreamt the other night about going in for our ultrasound and they told us we were having a girl. So who knows-we will be surprised either way!

Thursday night I went to dinner and a cookie exchange with my mom's group. We had a really nice time and we also found out who our Secret Santa was this year and received our last gift.

Friday night M and I had the rare opportunity to go out without G. M's work Christmas party was at a nice restaurant in Peoria that allows you to grill your own steaks. We had great food and even got my favorite-cookie skillet for dessert-yum! G stayed with a great friend of ours who happens to have a little boy right around G's age. They played and had a great time.

Today is looking to be another fun but busy day. We have two birthday parties to attend that just happen to be at the exact same time! They are both good friends so we are going to try very hard to make it to both parties.

Tomorrow we are hoping to finish up some Christmas shopping and relax a little. It is hard to believe that one week from today we will be home for 2 weeks!
