A Visit From Friends

Back in July we had a weekend visit from some of our dear friends. Chi Chi (Michael) and Morgan and their daughter Harlow. This is the second year they have come to visit us in the summer and we are honored they finish their family trip off with a stop in Peoria. They kept joking that they had invited themselves since they had contacted us about coming, but we LOVE having guests and LOVE seeing familiar faces. So Chi Chi and Morgan-invite yourselves anytime! Harlow and the boys get along well. B and Harlow are closer in age and they enjoyed riding in the gator. B liked to drive and Harlow was very content being the passenger so it was a match made in heaven! I must not have taken any pictures of them riding-bummer :(

The first night after dinner the kids all sat on the front step and had popsicles. The weather was so nice that both nights during the weekend we sat out on the driveway visiting and watching the kids ride bikes and play.

 

Daddy chased the ice cream truck down the street just so he would stop and give these cuties an ice cream treat the next afternoon :)We look forward to repaying them with a visit the next time we are in Iowa to see their new home!
